There is no way to turn off the code injection of the Live Preview function, it would not work as described in the documentation if that were possible.

 

You have two methods of accessing the old Preview in Browser (now called Open in Browser), one is as Ben shows, when your documents are set as tabs in your workspace. The other, when you have floating documents, is to right click the file in the Files window and choose the same menu option "Open in Browser", see below...

If you feel that is not the way things should be done, be sure to let the dev team know by submitting a feature request from within DW under Help > Submit Bug Report/Feature Request. If enough people are asking for the same, there's a good chance Adobe will add the old functionality back as the default, or give us an option to add the keyboard shortcut to the current Open in Browser function.

Image tramée

Bonjour tout le monde ! J'utilise Adobe Indesign Cs6 (pour MAC) quand j'imprime des documents les images et les lignes de ces derniers apparaissent très tramés. Ces images sont créees soit sur photoshop soit sur illustrator et Pourtant à l'écran ces trames ne sont pas visibles. Que faire pour résoudre ce problèmes ? Merci déjà de votre aide.

It said that my Catalog is too big and will not open

Give us the exact unedited word-for-word error message.

 

Stuffit Expander will not help in this case.

When I open lightroom 5, 95% of my photos are grey.  What can I do to at least being able to use Lr 5 again like before?

Most likely, the grey photos are considered missing by Lightroom and have an exclamation point icon on them, is that the case? If so, the solution is given here: Adobe Lightroom - Find moved or missing files and folders

Lr6 and iMac 27 (Sierra) - problems importing pictures.

My iMac 27 with Sierra can import pictures with LR 5.7, but when I am trying to do the same with LR 6.7 lots of trouble occurs - sometimes trouble with connecting the card reader, and if connected, trouble with previews and then trouble importing. Why?

Trouble Silently uninstalling adobe captivate 9

Hello Everyone,

Did somebody tried to uninstall/remove adobe captivate 9 silently using set-up.exe provided along with installation source?

I am facing issues with removing captivate using Set-up.exe --mode=silent --deploymentFile=<path to Deployment.install.xml> --action=uninstall command however it did worked during installation.

I am having the same issue. No matter how many times I've reset preferences, Bridge removes any favorites from the bottom of my list. It only keeps the top 21 after Bridge is restarted. Bridge used to be a major part of my daily workflow until this started happening.

Button to open up a phone call

I am working on my company's benefit enrollment guide.I'm not sure if InDesign can do what I want it to do though. I have been going through and adding hyperlinks and actions for the eBook we will be exporting this as.

 

There are a few phone numbers in this document. What I want to happen is when a user clicks on that number while using their smart phone for the action to be for that number to open in the phone's call option. That way they don't have to enter a number and can just click a button. Is it possible to do this with InDesign?

Good luck and try resetting the OOBE. So many people run a complete uninstall to fix these issues, when that could have resolved the issue with less effort and loss of prefs/workspace.

Does it meet these criteria?

Technical requirements for content

 

Images (photos or illustrations)

  • JPEG format only
  • Minimum image resolution is 4MP (megapixels)
  • Maximum image resolution is 100MP (megapixels)
  • Maximum file size is 45MB (megabytes)

Vectors

  • AI or EPS format.
  • Files must be placed in a zip archive that include JPEG previews.
  • Preview resolution should at least be 5,000 x 3,000 (15 million pixels).

Videos

  • Videos must be uploaded through FTP.
  • Minimum video resolution is 1280x720, but we recommend recording in Full HD, 4K DCI or 4K UHD.
  • File format must be: MOV, MP4, MPG ,or AVI format.
  • Duration needs to be at least 5 seconds and not exceed 60 seconds.
  • Maximum file size of 3900MB (3.9GB).
  • Avoid vertical or square framing.

habe Lightroom cc für 30 Tage Test downloaded, unmittelbar danach wird angezeigt, Testphase ist abgelaufen.

Was kann ich tun, um Programm trotzdem zu testen?

Hello

 

So far, what I did was I reverted back to El Capitan. I highly recommend this, especially if you are running an iMac. You're computer will run much faster.

 

As for the wacom issue itself, I am playing around with a driver. The driver is 6.3.15.3. You can download it here: http://cdn.wacom.com/u/productsupport/drivers/mac/professional/WacomTablet_6.3.15-3.dmg

 

So far so good with using a Wacom tablet with this driver, but I didnt fully get to test it out on a Cintiq yet. Try it out and let me know how it goes.

Hi Christopher,

In the generated TOC document, you can provide first indent to the heading styles according to the level you want to be created.

e.g. If you want Heading1 to appear on first level, Heading2 on level 2 and Heading3 on level 3 then Edit the TOC document to have

First Indent of Heading 1 < First Indent of Heading 2 < First Indent of Heading 3

By default, there is no option to change the zoom level using Customization wizard.

Like you mentioned this can be done using and here is the reference: General Application Settings  Let us know if that helps.

How to sync Lightroom on my iMac to my MacBook pro (not in cloud)

I just purchased lightroom 6 (cd).

I installed lightroom on both my MacBook pro and iMac...

My question is how to sync the catalogues/ collections?

 

Any links or tips in the right direction will be appreciated.

Glad you got it working good enough for now.

 

In the future, keep in mind that if you are having problems with viewing a pdf in Edge or Chrome, you will need to take that up in an Edge or Chrome forum. Neither use the Adobe Reader plug-in and use their own pdf viewers instead.
